摘要：As part of an analysis of secondary data from the Adult Education Survey 2007, an evaluation of the vocational education and training of the working population was undertaken by the Austrian Institute for Adult Education (Österreichisches Institut für Erwachsenenbildung – oieb in German). To a great extent, this job-related continuing vocational education and training was initiated and (partly) financed by the company.Noteworthy are the differences in participation and non-participation according to sectors and occupational groups, above all in the food service, hotel, construction, banking and insurance industries. The following article summarises the most significant results and ultimately attempts to answer the question of what the differences between the groups are. Is it possible that two different learning cultures exist?
