摘要：In this paper we are just focusing on how this deduplication method can be used for taking VM (virtual Machine) backup. This paper also shows the use of compression and decompression method in VM backup. Compression is another way to reduce the space requirements of backup file. Decompression comes into picture when we need to restore the compressed backup data again. The compressed data needs to be decompressed so that we can get the data in its original form, as it was before compressing. So our paper models an efficient approach for VM backup using compression and decompression by deduplication.
