摘要:Performance enhancement and to increase the global throughput of computational grid is main objective of propose load balancing algorithm. It is essential to keep maintaining the balance of workload between emerged infrastructures like grid. Jobs are needed to be equally balanced between various computing nodes. Maximizing the utilization of resources and for balance the workload, we propose an optimal and queuing based approach in grid infrastructure. In this paper, we propose an algorithm which takes into account the heterogeneity among available processor. Workload is balanced among available processing nodes according to their computational power which work on FCFS basis and also provide resource queue length based solution to the grid in which task is allocated to the processor taking less execution time. Thus provide the immediate result back to the user after processing. For next incoming jobs, pending jobs in queue for each resource is checked and their total execution time for each resource is calculated and compared with each other. Then job is finally allocated to resource having less execution time. The proposed algorithm works by balancing the load in grid by choosing optimal means best resource for given tasks. The simulation results show that our algorithm is a feasible way to achieve load balancing performance.
