摘要:Opportunistic networks are one of the class of mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) where contacts in between mobile nodes occur unpredictably and where a total endtoend path in between source and destination rarely exists. Two main Functions, conventionally provided by the transport layer, are protecting the reliability of data transmission in between source and destination, and protecting that the network doesn’t become congested with traffic. However, redisigned versions of TCP that have been put forward to support these functions in MANETs are inadequate in opportunistic networks. Added to existing, opportunistic networks need different approaches to those embrace in the most common ICN i.e intermittently connected networks, e.g. deep space networks DSN. In this paper we catch the state of the art of proposals for the storage congestion control and transfer reliability strategies in opportunistic network. We explore potential mechanisms for the transfer reliability service that is the hopbyhop custody transfer and the endtoend return receipt. We also identify the need for storage congestion control and categorise these concerns based on the number of message copies dispersed in the networks. For singlecopy forwarding, congestion avoidance mechanism and storage congestion management are discussed. For the multiplecopy forwarding, the foremost storage congestion control mechanisms are drop policy and replication management. Eventually, we identify open research concerns in the field where future research usefully is focused.
