摘要:Cloud computing and Utility computing paradigms are two resource sharing architectures. The vivid and multi-institutional natures of these environments instigate different challenges in context of availability and scalability. In this report we discuss the normal architecture of Cloud and Utility computing followed by crucial areas which are availability and scalability. To address these problems we proposed a new controlling and scheduling mechanism, Optimize Scheduler Authenticator and Controller (OSAC) [1]. Qualitative and quantitative research strategies are used to emphasise on these areas. Experiment is conducted to get a comparative view of availability in a real context. Interviews are used as mean of data collection for scalability issues.
