  • 摘要:Artificial intelligence (AI) is still a growing field with its main objective aimed at making machines intelligent via intelligent programs called expert systems. This field of computer science continues to make tremendous contributions cum changes, especially with its advent of the various branches such as Natural Language Processing, Expert systems, robotics and problem solving, amongst others – to all fields of life via a synergy called soft-computing. Thus, systems interact with users in the user’s own natural language with the ability to think and reason like its human imitator. Expert Systems are applied AI systems as used in today’s industries, government and by individual as means of information retrieval system. Knowledge about the logical flow processes in a particular domain of interest is symbolically represented as networks in form of a set of rules, objects with established relationships. Such knowledge are captured from a domain expert and codified by the AI designer to become expert system programs.
