摘要：The article summarizes the results of the empirical study concerned with correlation between "profession- alism" and "career" categories based on the survey in- volving 240 respondents. The research shows correla- tion between the concepts of professionalism and ca- reer in the young people's judgment. The author con- siders professional and personal features required for progress in professionalism/career, in the opinions of young people. An emotional component of a profes- sional's image and an image of a career - motivated per- son are specified.
