摘要：In this research, a screening approach permitted the evaluation of the effects of 5 parameters on Pistacia lentiscus L. essential oil extraction via hydro distillation process. Plakett and Burman design is used and because of it we were able to identify the most influential factors and evaluate them according to their importance and influence on the essential oil yield. The effect factors are 53 %, 23.12 %, 17.47 %, 5.25 % and 1.16 % for processing time, individuality, moisture, ratio of plant material / water and division of plant material respectively. The last one revealed that it has a negligible effect on the studied response
