摘要:The present work is to study the swelling behavior of sodium polyacrylate (PANa) in powder form in aqueous solution. The principal experimental results show that the swell ratio (Q eq ) of this polymer depends on several parameters (the presence of metal, the change ion-cons, the temperature, the pH of medium ...). Indeed, in the presence of distilled water only the polymer is capable of retaining its macromolecular chains between more than 300 times its weight in water. This value decreases with increasing concentration of the supernatant solution of the salt or of the metal. As cons, Q eq values increases with less acid pH (Q eq =229 at pH=7) and with the increasing temperature (Q eq =313 at T=70°C).
