摘要:A novel inorganic-organic hybrid material based on silica chemically modified with N,C-bis(thiophen-1- ylmethyl)amine (SiNTh) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 13 C NMR of the solid state, nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm, BET surface area, BJH pore sizes and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The new surface exhibits good chemical and thermal stability determined by thermogravimetry curves (TGA). SiNTh has been used for Cu(II) sorption from aqueous solution using batch method. The influences of contact time, pH, concentration, and temperature for sorption on SiNTh were investigated. Studies show that the adsorption follow Langmuir isotherm model. The thermodynamic parameters (.G°, .H° and .S°) reveal that the process was endothermic and spontaneous in nature, and the adsorption process was found to follow pseudo-second order kinetics.
