摘要：Dens invaginatus is a developmental anomaly resulting in a deepening or invagination of the enamel organ into the dental papilla prior to calcification of the dental tissues. Dens invaginatus has been classified into three types by Oehler. The present case report describes the successful diagnosis and non-surgical endodontic management of type III dens invaginatus of a 13 year old male patient with a periapical lesion using mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). At the end of the 18-months follow up, the tooth was asymptomatic and radiographic examination showed little repair of the periradicular lesion associated with type III dens invaginatus.
