摘要:El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar el efecto de un programa de iniciación deportiva en las capacidades físicas condicionales en niños de 8 y 9 años de una escuela primaria de Ciudad Obregón. Se trabajó con 20 alumnos los cuales fueron divididos en dos grupos de 10 alumnos, un grupo control y otro experimental. Se elaboró un programa de iniciación deportiva el cual sólo fue aplicado al grupo experimental en un periodo de 3 meses con una frecuencia de 4 días a la semana con duración de 60 minutos por sesión habiendo una evaluación inicial y otra final, mientras que el grupo control no realizó ningún tipo de actividad física formal o dirigida. Se encontraron diferencias significativas en grupo experimental en la capacidad de velocidad y fuerza con p=0.008 y p=0.001 respectivamente, en las capacidades de resistencia y flexibilidad existió mejoras pero no estadísticamente significativas, mientras que en grupo control no se presentaron mejoras. Estos datos pueden servir para futuras investigaciones relacionadas al tema, donde se pueden enriquecer a través de comparaciones y/o diferencias con otros autores.
