摘要:This work identifies, in statistical reports, the main features of the homes built in Spain during 2007-2010; and the reports identify 10 representative types of residential buildings and construction solutions. The impact generated by these typologies is then assessed using the Ecological Footprint (EF) indicator, obtaining, among other results, that single-family dwellings have a 45 % higher footprint than the multifamily buildings and that the manpower represents 30 % of the total EF. Also, the footprint is evaluated per construction phase and construction system, which determines that the elements with higher impact are the structure, masonry, finishes and foundation, in that order. Finally, the total EF of dwelling construction during the period and per dwelling occupancy is assessed.
