摘要：Design e suporte são atividades imprescindíveis para o sucesso dos participantes de um curso on-line.Este estudo foi realizado em duas edições de um curso de aperfeiçoamento para professores de inglês e tem como objetivo compreender como tais atividades se constituem, refletir sobre suas relações com a melhoria do curso oferecido e apontar caminhos e soluções no âmbito do design do curso e da mediação on-line.A análise foi pautada principalmente no conceito de rede de sistemas da Teoria da Atividade (ENGESTRÖM, 1999; 2000; 2007) e nos processos e circunstâncias do Sistema de Transitividade (THOMPSON, 2004).Segundo resultados iniciais, as atividades se complementam e os designers buscam soluções com foco na atuação dos participantes e não nos problemas em si.
其他摘要：Design and support are indispensable activities for the success of participants in an online course. This study was carried out in two editions of an improvement course for English teachers and it aims at understanding how such activities are constituted, reflecting on their relations to the betterment of the course offered, and pointing out ways and solutions with regard to course design and online mediation. The analysis was ruled especially by the concept of systems network from the Activity Theory (ENGESTRÖM, 1999; 2000; 2007) and by the processes and circumstances from the Transitivity System (THOMPSON, 2004). According to initial results, the activities complement each other and the designers seek for solutions focusing on the participants’ performance and not on the problems themselves.
