摘要：RESUMO: O presente artigo discute a análise de um livro didático de matemática destinado aos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental.O objetivo foi analisar sobre as concepções de letramento e o uso de gêneros textuais que circulam no livro didático.Estabelecemos inicialmente a observação geral do livro procurando fazer um levantamento quantitativo de quais eram os gêneros presentes na obra e as funções destes para a aprendizagem matemática.Assim, definimos quatro categorias que circulavam nas unidades.Contemplando os estudos de Street (1984), entendemos que a concepção de letramento presente no livro didático analisado está mais próxima do modelo autônomo.ABSTRACT: The paper herein discusses the analysis of a mathematics textbook aimed for use in the earliest school years.The aim was to analyze the literacy conceptions and the use of text genres which are present in the textbook.We have initially presented an overall view of the book, trying to have a quantitative survey of the genres present in the book and their functions for the mathematics learning.We have therefore defined four categories covered within the units.Based on the studies from Street (1984), we understand that the literacy conception present in the analyzed textbook is closer to the autonomous model.
