摘要：En este artículo se presentan las características relevantes de la obra del cuentista caribeño Manuel Guillermo Ortega (Baranoa, Atlántico, 1947), quien desde comienzos de la década del setenta, publica bajo el seudónimo de Guillermo Tedio1. Sus relatos han encontrado en la diversidad narrativa una peculiar manera de nombrar el mundo, que se basa en la constante experimentación con las formas, así como en la recreación del espacio local-fundacional y en la reivindicación y recreación de la cultura popular y de sus lenguajes, para situar al lector ante los múltiples interrogantes que implica reflexionar acerca de la condición humana en la actualidad. ABSTRACT This paper is the explanation of some relevant aspects around the Manuel Guillermo Ortega’s Tales production (Baranoa, Atlántico, 1947). Since the 70’s, this author publishes his works by the “Guillermo Tedio” alias. His stories have found in the narrative diversity a particular way to name the world, this way is based on the continuous experimentation with the forms; as well as they talk about the fundational and local space’s recreation, and the revalue and renew of the popular culture and its languages. All those facts in order to put the reader around the variously questions implicated on the think-able about the human condition on ours days.
