In the typical wedding ceremony, the happy couple publicly vows to love and honor one another, remaining steadfast, "for better or for worse," "for richer or for poorer," "in sickness and in health," "'til death do us part.", These words, uttered so often, and by so many, are so familiar that most of us can recite them from memory.
