其他摘要:After accession of the Czech Republic to the EU, new legislation requirements had to be met. As for planting stock standards, new one-year-old seedlings of 51–80 cm height class were included. The objective of the paper is to standardize morphological parameters of the container-grown broadleaves of the given height class. Shipped planting stock can be considered standardized when more than 95% of plants meet required criteria. The basic criteria of the new large planting stock were measured: root collar diameter, above-ground height, age, improperly developed roots, root volume/above-ground volume ratio, fine roots volume/root system volume ratio and half-length diameters of taproot or multiplied coarse roots. Beech, oaks and hornbeams were also investigated from branching and rooting patterns point of view. If containerized broadleaves are grown properly, one can expect 15% share of 51–80 cm plants in average; maximum share found in broadleaves was roughly 20% for European beech, pedunculate oak and Norway maple. Minimum share of the given stock type was 2% in durmast oaks
