摘要：The study investiga te s and compares the a ttitudes towa rd business ethics and c orpora te (business) social responsibility by loca l and immigra nt SME owners in East London in the Ea stern Cape province of South Afric a. T he study employed the Attitude towards Business Ethics Qu estionna ire (ATBEQ ) a nd Attitudes towards Corporate Social Responsibility Q uestionnaire (ATCSRQ) for da ta collection in a survey. The results suggest that both local and immigra nt SME owners ha ve a good a ttitude towards business ethics and corporate social responsibility. In addition, the results revea l that there a re no significa nt differences in the a ttitudes of local and immigra nt SME owners toward business ethics and corporate socia l responsibility. Recommenda tions to improve business ethics and corpora te social responsibility by SME owners are suggested
