摘要：Using Qualitative Research Methods in Regional Geography. Our research is useful because it presents a series of new methods for Romanian geographical research. We realised a theoretical and case studies approach of geographical research methods as the main objective of our paper was to underline the increasing importance of qualitative research methods and their significance for research in Regional Geography. We selected the following qualitative methods: the semi-structured interview, the questionnaire survey research (as a mixed method), the focus group, participant observation, participatory research methods, working in different cultures, internet mediated research, and diaries as a research method. We gave examples of their use in contemporary international research in Geography and we focused on their use or possible use in Regional Geography
