摘要：The Hortonworks sandbox is a fully contained Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) environment. The sandbox includes the core Hadoop components (HDFS and MapReduce), as well as all the tools needed for data ingestion and processing. You can access and analyze sandbox data with many Business Intelligence (BI) applications. The Hortonworks Sandbox is a single node implementation of the Hortonworks Data Platform(HDP). It is packaged as a virtual machine to make evaluation and experimentation with HDP fast and easy. The idea is to show you how you can get started and show you how to accomplish tasks in HDP. To compare the advantage of working on Hadoop and case study to compare the files in java and Hadoop on Sandbox platform with respect to size.
