摘要：Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) has become one of the most active research areas in the past few years and is still a demanding research topic in the field of Digital Image Processing. This paper starts with the introduction about CBIR and then we have studied about various efficient methods based on Content Based Image Retrieval. In this we have studied about various approaches like SURF (Speeded up Robust Features), SVM(Support Vector Machine) and NN(Neural Network).we have study the features for Image Retrieval like color, texture and shape. We briefly examine the likeness measures based on which matches are made and images are retrieved
