摘要：The supply of tourist accommodation in rural areas has shown a general upward trend since 2000, despite a slight decline during the global financial crisis, whose effects were manifested in 2009-2011. On the other hand, the changes which Romania faced with the transition to a market economy have affected the tourism, having especially significant implications for the rural tourism activity due to modifications in vacation destinations. The paper presents a detailed analysis of the rural tourist accommodation transformations in time (2000-2012) and space (by region and county) in structural terms
