摘要：Due to the economic interconnections between EU member countries and with countries outside the EU, economic flows become an increasingly important role for the development of each country. Economic developments in the last decade and the beginning of the current decade have influenced quite strongly their intensities and directions. In these conditions, Romania's foreign trade has known, as in other countries, periods of growth and decline. Based on these considerations the paper presents and analyzes evolutions of foreign trade and trade balance of Romania during 2003-2012. The analyze focuses also on the correlations between the volume of exports, the employment rate and the volume of net investments whose growth can be a way of achieving a trade balance surplus.
