摘要：This essay considers some gender issues that emerge in the context of medieval po etry, mo re specifically in the context of the Galego -Portuguese cantigas de amigo. By discussing different theoretical perspectives and analyzing concrete passages of three cantigas, the essay points out to the deco nstructive potential of this poetry, no matter its undeniable traditional features.
