摘要：Meditation intercultural on "adversity of the time" This paper starts from the situation of violence that destroys social and democratic human coexistence, in the actual Mexican society. That, for thinking, in base to a concrete example, the responsibility of the philosophy in front of "the adversity of the present time", that is, in front of a course of history that threatens to destroy our humanistic patrimo ny. In the first part of the wise man it appears nevertheless that same philosophy can belong to this "adversity of the time" betraying so its mission that is the search of the wisdom and the good. In the second part it gives an explanatio n of the "adversity of the time" in the sense of a historical time that spreads "the commo n evil". It concludes with the hypothesis that the responsibility of philosophy is precisely to help restore forms of coexistence that, correct in intercultural perspective, spread the "common good".
