摘要：Ethics and politics. The philosophical foundations of discourse ethics and their contribution to the democratic state of law This work will make it clear what kind of contributions the discourse ethics of K.-O. Apel can do to improve the performance of democratic institutions of the rule of law. The thesis is that in the context of the politic, the contributions of this theory not only consist in the problem of justification of the application of the norms, but also in the reconstructio n of the philosophical presupposition of discourse ethics of Apel. According to this thesis allows and provides a critique of the performance of democratic institutions and the identification of their inherent problems as the starting point of their possible solution. This means that the philosophical background of discourse ethics is also politically relevant
