摘要：The image of Man from the Renaissance up to Neurophilosophy - Part 2 In order to present the change of the image of man from the Renaissance to the modern era, I referred back in the first part of my deliberations to the current theories of the Anthropology and the science of cognition. In the elaboration in this second part I have directed my attention to the importance o f exceptional talents which we are generally accustomed to designate as "Genius". In recourse to the literature critic, Harold Bloom, I develop a means of understand-ding of human ingenuity, which is based on gnostic thought processes. Thereupon I undertake a thought journey that leads me, over the nature of beauty and the beauty of nature respect-tively to the understanding of the genius of various authors and artists (Rodin, Nietzsche, Novalis). The ingenuity of human beings will never disclose its secret, however, artists such as Michelangelo demo nstrate that man is a highly talented and complex creature, who per-mits no reduction to a single facet of his existence
