摘要：A biometric system which relies only on a single biometric identifier in making a personal identification is often unable to meet the desired performance requirements. Identification based on multiple biometrics represents an emerging trend. This paper presents a multimodal biometric system, which integrates the face verification and finger print verification. Face verification is done using the different methods, similarly finger print verification is done using there different methods. A Fuzzy based decision making system is designed, which takes input from the recognitions made by different face and finger-print identification techniques and gives an identity of recognized person. Preliminary experiment results demonstrate that the identity recognized by this integrated system is more reliable than the identity recognized by the available biometric systems in literature.
