摘要:Today, people recognize ICT devices act as catalysts for change in working conditions, handling and exchanging information, teaching methods, learning approaches, scientific research, and in accessing information i.e. in every field of life. Almost in every university, the technological needs are rapidly growing due to ownership and usage of ICT devices amongst students entering undergraduate programs. Almost all students report owning a mobile phone, laptops and tablets as educational tools, as well as for non-academic activities. Also, distance education learning environments provide tremendous convenience and flexibility to adult learners to engage in education while coping with their limited resources in terms of time, energy and finances with the usage of mobile devices. This paper discusses how different ICT devices are used by different students to perform various activities. It also shows how the adult’s aims for education differ from young students and hence, uses of ICT techniques also get varied.
