摘要：This paper attempts to examine Canadian indigenous literary activism which started in 1960.s, to tell or narrate the stories of their pain and hurt experienced in the hands of White-Europeans. As a new form of resistance, they document their response to various misrepresentations in Canadian historiography and Literature while at the same time emphasize/assert on their sovereignty struggles for the recognition of indigenous distinct rights as a means to define indigenous identity
