In this study, the Self - compassion Scale and the Flourishing Scale were used. The relationships between self - compassion and flourishing were examined using correlation and regress ion analysis. In correlation analysis, self - kindness, co m mon humanity, and mindfulness fa c tors of self - compassion were found positively and self - judgment, isol a- tion, and over - identification factors of self - compassion were found neg a- tively related to flouri s h ing. According to regression results, flourishing was predicted neg a tively by self - judgment, isolation, and over - identification. Further self - kindness and mindfulness predicted flourishing in a positive way. Self - compassion has explained 47% of the varia nce in flouris h ing. R e- sults were discussed in the light of related literature.
