摘要：El objetivo del presente estudio fue explicar el sentido que otorga un grupo de adolescentes a sus interacciones en Facebook. El estudio se llevó a cabo mediante un método cualitativo, desarrollado en dos fases; la primera se desarrolló mediante el uso de la etnografía virtual y la segunda utilizando grupos focales. Los resultados indican que tanto hombres como mujeres recurren a ciertos roles de género para expresar opiniones e interactuar con otros y otras; asimismo, la significación que hacen los y las adolescentes a las interacciones sociales que mantienen en Facebook, se ven influidas por aspectos que caracterizan a la adolescencia, tales como la intensificación de la emocionalidad, la percepción de reconocimiento social a través de lo que comparten en la plataforma y el “ like ”, el sentido de pertenencia y la presión social, así como la oportunidad de establecer y mantener relaciones empáticas.
其他摘要：The objective of the present study was to explain the meaning given by a group of teenagers to their interactions on Facebook. The study was carried out with a qualitative method, developed in two phases: the first using virtual ethnography, the second using focus groups. The results suggest that both males and females draw upon specific gender roles in expressing opinions and interacting. As well, the meaning given by the adolescents to the social interactions that they maintain with Facebook can be seen as influenced by characteristics of adolescence, such as the intensification of emotionality, perceptions of recognition through what is shared in the platform and “like”, in the sense of belonging and social pressure to have an account, as well as the opportunity to establish and maintain empathic relations.
