摘要：São propostas no presente artigo algumas reflexões sobre o ensino de música no contexto da educação brasileira. Focalizam-se contrastes da pós-modernidade com o período conhecido como Era Vargas, um tempo fortemente caracterizado pela ideologia nacionalista. O estudo fundamenta-se na Teoria dos Valores ancorada nas ideias de Scheler (1955), Reale (1996), Goergen (2005) e Werneck (1996, 2003). Também são utilizados os pensamentos de Hall (2003) e Bauman (2001, 2005, 2007) sobre a identidade cultural na pós-modernidade e o conceito de comunidades imaginadas de Anderson (1989, 2005). Segue, então, uma análise de abordagem qualitativa de entrevistas semiestruturadas, realizadas com seis professores de música formados pelo Conservatório Nacional de Canto Orfeônico, principal instituição brasileira de formação de docentes de música para o ensino regular escolar na primeira metade do século passado. Nas entrevistas foram detectados reflexos de valores cultivados pela ideologia nacionalista, numa análise da hierarquia de valores do passado em contraste com os contextos pós-modernos.
其他摘要：Some reflections are proposed in the present article concerning the music education in the context of the Brazilian education. The contrasts of post-modernity within this period known as the Vargas Era are focused, an époque strongly characterized by the nationalistic ideology, the national identity. The study theoretically is based on the Theory of the Values anchored in the ideas of Scheler (1955), Reale (1996), Goergen (2005) and Werneck (2003). Also the thoughts of Hall (2003) and Bauman (2001, 2005, 2007) on the cultural identity in post-modernity and the concept of communities imagined of Anderson (1989, 2005) are used. It follows, then, an analysis of qualitative boarding of interviews half-structured accomplished with six professors of music. All the interviewed ones are formed by the National Conservatory of Orpheonic Chant, the main Brazilian institution of training of music professors of school regular education in the first half of the last century. In their interviews, they were detected reflective of values cultivated for the nationalistic ideology, in a parallel of the hierarchy of values of passed in contrast with the contexts the post-modern.
