摘要：En el presente artículo se trabaja sobre la metafórica nacionalista del grupo de ska-punk costarricense llamado "El Guato", en relación con el género musical que interpretan y el tiempo histórico que vive nuestro país. Los datos se han elaborado con base en las letras de sus discos y declaraciones de su cantante Geovanny Durán, lo cual ha dado como resultado una visión acerca de los diferentes personajes que interactúan en la sociedad costarricense. Por último se trabaja con las relaciones existentes entre esta metafórica y la incertidumbre que experimenta nuestra sociedad acerca del futuro.
其他摘要：This article analyzes the nationalistic metaphor of the Costa Rican ska-punk group named "El Guato", in relation with their music genera and the current historical moment of Costa Rica. Data were collected from the lyrics of the group and declarations of its singer Geovanny Duran. As a result we document the El Guato.s perspective on different characters that interact in the Costa Rican society. Finally, this article examines the relationship between this metaphor and the uncertainty experimented by our society about the future.
