摘要：Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma investigação com alunos de um curso superior de Pedagogia, na modalidade a distância, sobre como concebem as tecnologias de informação e comunicação e compreendem a sua utilização em sala de aula. O estudo da temática em cursos de formação de professores torna-se essencial para que esses futuros profissionais da educação, estejam conscientes dos limites e das possibilidades da utilização de tecnologias na sala de aula. Essa pesquisa demonstrou a clara concepção e compreensão dos alunos sobre a temática. Elencando-a como um recurso disponível para melhoria do processo ensino-aprendizagem e formação do profissional da educação. A idéia, bastante difundida, de que as tecnologias são uma ameaça ao professor não obteve apoiadores. Em contrapartida, pode-se inferir que os alunos têm consciência de que é imprescindível a formação continuada com ênfase nas tecnologias.
其他摘要：This article presents the results of an investigation carried out with students of a Pedagogia higher education course, in distance learning. It deals with the issue of how they understand information and communication technologies and their use in the classroom. The study of this theme in courses that deal with teacher training is essential so that these future education professionals may become conscious of the limits and possibilities of their use in the classroom. This research showed clearly the students' concepts and understanding of the issue, ranking it as an available resource in the improvement of the learning/teaching process and development of the education professional. The widely spread idea that technologies are a threat to the teacher did not have supporters. Also, it is possible to infer that the students are conscious that continued development with emphasis on technologies is extremely important.
