摘要：O artigo analisa a presença de Paulo Freire nos Grupos de Pesquisa cadastrados no Diretório de Grupos do CNPq tomando como base de estudo a descrição dos grupos que investigam sobre a Educação Freireana e suas linhas de investigação. As informações disponibilizadas oportunizam a configuração geral dos grupos, evidenciando a distribuição dos grupos por região, estado e universidade, o pertencimento à área de conhecimento, o número de pesquisadores e estudantes e a temática central de investigação. A análise das informações sobre os grupos revela a presença predominante de quatro eixos temáticos de investigação, estudos sobre a obra de Paulo Freire, a relação entre Filosofia e Educação e a formação crítico-interrogativa nos processos educativos, a influência de Paulo Freire na formação e nas práticas educacionais, e a presença de Paulo Freire nos sistemas públicos de ensino. Sobre o último eixo, identifica-se o interesse dos pesquisadores em investigar a concretude dos princípios freireanos na formulação e implementação de distintas políticas educacionais no Brasil, o que revela o compromisso político com a democratização da educação e da sociedade, uma articulação com movimentos sociais e instituições do poder público e da sociedade civil e um reposicionamento do papel da universidade, que assume a luta pela superação das assimetrias sociais.
其他摘要：This article analyzes the influence of Paulo Freire's thought on research groups that are registered in the CNPq directory. The basis for this study is a description of the groups that study about Freirian education. The information available allows for an overview of the groups according to region, state and university, as well as, knowledge area, number of researchers, students and research theme. The analysis shows the enduring influence of Freire's thought in four central research themes, studies concerning his work, the relationship between philosophy and education, particularly in the critical-interrogative development of educational processes, Paulo Freire's influence in the formation of educational practices, and the influence of his ideas on public education. Concerning to the last one, an interest of researchers to investigate the concreteness of Freirean principles in the formulation and implementation of different educational policies in Brazil was identified. It shows the political commitment to the democratization of education and society, a link with social movements and institutions of government and civil society and a repositioning of the role of the university, who assumes the struggle to overcome the social inequalities.
