摘要：Este artigo apresenta resultados referentes a um estudo investigativo qualitativo da prática docente do professor da educação infantil numa escola pública no município de Ribeirão - PE. O objetivo foi analisar a prática docente das professoras e suas concepções acerca da educação infantil, bem como as contribuições dessa prática no desenvolvimento das crianças. Com base em estudos de importantes teóricos que abordam e fundamentam a prática pedagógica como fazer fundante e estruturante do processo ensino aprendizagem, refletimos sobre a prática docente na educação infantil. Nos apoiamos numa leitura fenomenológica para a pesquisa de campo. Como procedimento metodológico, o campo empírico foi uma escola da Rede Municipal, duas salas de aulas, duas professoras. Utilizamos a observação participante e a entrevista semiestruturada com o uso do diário de campo. A análise dos dados apontou que possivelmente pela prática das professoras estarem baseadas numa concepção sóciointeracionista com diferentes estratégias de aprendizagens, favorece o desenvolvimento das crianças nessa etapa da Educação Básica.
其他摘要：This paper presents the results of an investigative qualitative study of teaching practice of childhood education teacher in a public school in Ribeirão - PE. The objective was to analyze the teaching practice of the teachers and their conceptions of childhood education, as well as the contributions of this practice on the children¿s development. Based in studies of important theoretical that approach and substantiate the pedagogical practice as founding and structuring agent of the learning process, we reflect on the teaching practice in childhood education. We had a phenomenological reading as basis for the field research. As methodological procedure, the empirical field was a Municipal School, two classrooms, two teachers. We used the participant observation and semi-structured interviews with the use of field diary. The data analysis pointed that possibly because of the practice of teachers being based on a social-interactionist conception with different learning strategies, it is favored the development of children in this stage of basic education.
