摘要：A promulgação da Lei Ordinária n. 11.769/08 tornou obrigatório o ensino da música na educação básica, transformando-a em área de conhecimento e não mais em uma atividade artística como foi tratada na constância da Lei n. 5.692/71. Tal medida torna necessário um estudo atento dos pesquisadores e educadores musicais objetivando verificar quais os benefícios que a música proporciona ao ser humano, como ela deve ser ministrada na educação básica e no ensino superior, qual o seu sentido e função na cadeia evolutiva do homem. Assim pensado, os autores trouxeram para análise, um levantamento bibliográfico que descreve parte dos experimentos realizados nesta área, comprovando a importância das artes na formação do indivíduo; o pensamento de Gardner voltado para o ensino artístico-musical e, a análise dos ordenamentos produzidos até o momento na educação, voltados para o ensino das artes em geral. Essa metodologia de pesquisa permitiu aos autores eleger para a educação básica um ensino musical de ação sensibilizatória, capaz de contribuir na formação integral dos indivíduos.
其他摘要：The enactment of Ordinary Law n. 11.769/08 made the musical teaching in elementary school compulsory, transforming it in an area of knowledge rather than an artistic activity, as it had been dealt with under Law n. 5.692/71. Such a measure makes it necessary for an attentive study by researchers and musical educators aiming at verifying the benefits that are provided by Music to the human being, how Music must be taught in elementary school and university, and what function it has in the men’s evolutionary chain. In this line of thought, the authors have brought to analysis a bibliography collection which describes part of the experiments carried out in this area, this way confirming the importance of Arts in the individuals’ education, Gardner’s thinking, turned to musical-artistic teaching, and the analysis of the gradation produced up to the moment in education, turned to the teaching of Arts in general. This type of research methodology enabled the authors to elect a kind of musical teaching of sensitizing action to elementary school, which is capable of contributing in the total education of the individuals.
