摘要：El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la brecha digital en cuanto al acceso, conocimiento y uso de internet, entre docentes y alumnos del Instituto Universitario de Tecnología READIC – UNIR de la Ciudad de Maracaibo, desarrollada bajo una metodología descriptiva, de campo, con un diseño no experimental del tipo transeccional. La población estuvo conformada por 222 docentes y 7.871 alumnos del respectivo Instituto. La muestra se obtuvo a través de la fórmula de Shiffer quedando conformada 73 docentes y 99 alumnos. Se utilizó un muestreo aleatorio estratificado. Para la recolección de los datos se diseñó un cuestionario no homogéneo, conformado por 10 preguntas. El análisis de datos se realizó con el apoyo de la herramienta informática Microsoft Excel 2007. Los resultados obtenidos reflejaron un nivel bajo en la Brecha Digital en cuanto al acceso, al conocimiento y la finalidad de uso del Internet entre docentes y alumnos.
其他摘要：The objective of this research was to analyze the digital gap in terms of access, awareness and use of internet, between teachers and students of the University Institute of Technology READIC - UNIR Maracaibo, developed under a descriptive field methodology, with a nonexperimental transactional type. The sample consisted of 222 teachers and 7871 students of the Institute. The sample was obtained through the Shiffer formula being conformed by 73 teachers and 99 students. We used a stratified random sampling. To collect data a questionnaire was designed no homogeneous, consisting of 10 questions. Data analysis was performed with the support of Microsoft Excel 2007 software tool. The results obtained showed a low level in the digital gap in terms of access, knowledge and purpose of Internet use among teachers and students.
