摘要：En el presente trabajo se analizan cifras actuales del uso de twitter y se contrastan con la teoría sobre las comunidades virtuales de Nielsen (2006), haciendo énfasis en el análisis de la cuenta @chavezcandanga del expresidente Hugo Chávez. Los datos se obtuvieron de las plataformas analíticas de redes sociales que procesan el API de Twitter y de centros de investigación internacionales. Se concluye que en el caso de la comunidad virtual de la cuenta @chavezcandanga, se aprovechan las características de las redes sociales como una práctica innovadora de gobierno electrónico y se cumplen las formulaciones de Nielsen
其他摘要：In this paper we analyze actual figures of the use of twitter which are contrasted with the theory of virtual communities of Nielsen (2006), with emphasis on the analysis of the account @chavezcandanga of former president Hugo Chavez. The data was obtained from the analytical social networking platforms that processes the Twitter API and international research centers. We conclude that in the case of the virtual community of the @chavezcandanga account the characteristics of social networks are harnessed as an innovative practice in egovernment and Nielsen formulations are met
