摘要：En Colombia la fiesta de la Virgen de la Candelaria es una celebración de gran trascendencia en numerosos pueblos y ciudades, entre los que se encuentran Cartagena y Magangué (Bolívar) y Paimadó (Chocó). Allí, y en otros lugares de los litorales colombianos, la devoción religiosa tiene una característica muy particular: una relación de cercana familiaridad que se establece entre santos y creyentes, la cual se manifiesta en las singulares formas de celebrar las fiestas patronales; poner a bailar a los santos, atribuirles relaciones sentimentales, emborracharlos, celebrar sus días tomando y bailando son expresiones comunes del fervor de los habitantes de ambos litorales. Este artículo presenta un breve recorrido por el origen de la Candelaria en esas tres localidades y algunas descripciones de las celebraciones que allí han tenido lugar en diferentes momentos históricos, lo cual nos permite plantear posibles relaciones culturales entre ambos litorales presentes desde la época colonial y vigente todavía en la actualidad.
其他摘要：In Colombia, the celebration of the Virgin La Candelaria is a very significant one in many towns and cities, Cartagena and Magangué in Bolivar and Paimadó in Chocó amongst them. In these and other places of Colombian seaboards, the religious devotion is very peculiar because of the existence of a close and particular relationship between persons and saints. In fact, people make the icons of the saints drink and dance with them as the celebration takes place and even believe that they have special love relations between them. These expressions are shared by both the Caribbean and the Pacific Colombian coasts. This paper shows a short tour from the origin of the La Candelaria celebration in these three places as well as some descriptions of celebrations that have taken place in different history moments. All of this allows the authors to suggest the existence of cultural relationships between the two Colombian seaboards which would have been set up since the colony days and still exist in current time.
