摘要：El presente trabajo tiene tres propósitos. En primer lugar, dar cuenta de los antecedentes del ferrocarril en Venezuela, haciendo un breve análisis de lo que fue el ferrocarril inglés y el gran ferrocarril alemán. En segundo lugar: exponer la vinculación del ferrocarril, los conflictos laborales y acuerdos de trabajo. En tercer lugar, teniendo como centralidad la llegada del ferrocarril en el siglo XXI realizar su análisis a partir de la llamada migración selectiva. Se incluyen los aspectos metodológicos y un aparte a modo de reflexiones. Es de indicar que para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos vías: la revisión documental, con el objetivo de lograr exponer una breve reseña histórica de los ferrocarriles en Venezuela durante los siglos XIX y XX, y el uso del cuestionario, a los fines de realizar entrevistas a los trabajadores de tal manera de poder comprender la dinámica que se teje con la migración selectiva y el trabajo en el ferrocarril tramo Puerto Cabello-La Encrucijada.
其他摘要：The present study has three intentions. First, explain the antecedents of Venezuelan railroad, through a brief analysis of the English railroad and the great German railroad. Second, expose the relation of the railroad, the labor conflicts and agreements of work. Third, having as a main point the arrival of the railroad in the century XXI, make its analysis from the so-called selective migration. Also, the methodological aspects and an aside are included as reflections. For the data collection, it was used the documentary revision to give a historical review of Venezuelan railroads in the century XIX y XX; and the questionnaire to interview the workers in order to understand the dynamics that tiles with the selective migration and the work in the railroad Puerto Cabello-La Encrucijada.
