摘要：En los últimos años, la provincia de Mendoza ha logrado consolidarse como uno de los principales destinos turísticos de Argentina: su paisaje la ha posicionado como lugar elegido por los turistas tanto nacionales como extranjeros. El trabajo que presentamos se propone refl exionar sobre los procesos dominantes que impulsaron la construcción del paisaje de la capital provincial, a través de la acción pública promovida por el Estado. Se analizan los procesos que los conducen, los actores que los encarnan y las imágenes resultantes que dan origen a la vez que nutren y renuevan las representaciones sociales sobre una ciudad que encuentra la clave de su identidad y gran parte de su desarrollo turístico, en el control y uso del agua.
其他摘要：In the last years, the province of Mendoza has established itself as one of the main tourist destinations in Argentina: its landscape has positioned itself as a place of choice for both domestic and foreign tourists. The present work aims to refl ect on the signifi cant processes that drove the construction of the landscape of the provincial capital through public action promoted by the state. It discusses the processes that drive them, the actors who embody and the resulting images that give rise to the social representations of a city. Over these constructions we found the key of its identity and much of its tourism development.
