摘要：Algunos antropólogos al estudiar los orígenes de los pueblos dicen que los latinoamericanos “somos hombres de maíz y de la yuca en esta situación los venezolanos somos consumidores de arepas y casabe. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el origen y la importancia de dos alimentos prehispánicos como lo son el casabe y la arepa, los cuales constituyen un legado de la culinaria indígena venezolana, Metodológicamente se sustenta en la revisión bibliográfica y en la recolección de información para posterior análisis y discusión. El casabe y la arepa constituyen una herencia indígena de beneficiosas cualidades nutritivas que forman parte de nuestro régimen alimentario y que representan un rasgo cultural, una huella de la alimentación prehispánica que ha logrado trascender al paso del tiempo.
其他摘要：Anthropologists studying the origins of peoples say that Latin‑Americans “are men of maize and cassava in our situation the Venezuelans are consumers of arepas and casabe.” This study aims to analyze the origin and the importance of two pre‑Hispanic foods such as the cassava and the arepa, which are a legacy of the culinary Venezuelan indigenous, methodologically relies in the literature review and the collection of information for further analysis and discussion.The cassava and the arepa form an indigenous legacy of beneficial nutritional qualities that are part of our diet and representing a feature of culture, an imprint of the Prehispanic food that has managed to transcend the passing of time.
