摘要：El tema de este ensayo es explorar los aportes que determinados sectores de la intelectualidad indígena en el Ecuador realiza a favor de la construcción intercultural de saberes. Se parte de una contextualización general de las tradiciones de pensamiento intelectual en América Latina y se propone incorporar dentro de las mismas a la reciente figura del intelectual indígena. Luego se consideran algunas referencias sobre sus orígenes y funciones en la sociedad contemporánea, para finalmente destacar sus propuestas y aportes en el plano del Pensamiento Latinoamericano, tanto desde el ámbito de la educación como de la investigación. El objetivo general que se plantea consiste en visibilizar a este nuevo sector del campo intelectual específico de nuestra región, conocer sus actuales espacios de enunciación y los lugares desde donde retoman la herencia del pensamiento anticolonialista, y hacia los cuales se proyectan propuestas políticas y epistémicas que ambicionan superar la marginalidad y promover un diálogo superador, de carácter intercultural
其他摘要：The general subject of this essay is the contribution that specifics sector of the indigenous intelligentsia in Ecuador carries out in favour of the intercultural construction of knowledge. The starting point is a general description of the context of thought traditions in Latin America in order to incorporate the indigenous intellectual figure within these traditions. Afterwards, we consider some references about their origin and function in the contemporary society. Finally, we emphasize theirs proposes and contributions to Latin-American thought, from the point of view of education as well as scientific research fields. The general aim is to turn visible the indigenous intelligentsia as a new group in the intellectual field of our region, get to know their present spaces of enunciation and the places from where they take up again the legacy of the anticolonialist thought, and through which they plan to offer politic and epistemic proposals in order to overcome the marginality and provoke a better dialog, such as the intercultural one
