摘要:Commenting on Fredric Jameson’s identification of the cultural dimension of globalization with postmodernism, the author analyzes the way the two terms are defined in Jameson’s critical work. The aim of this investigation is to determine whether these terms can rightfully be used in an alternate fashion. The analysis is backed up by the interpretations of literary texts by Honore Balzac, Don De Lillo and Mo Yan.
