摘要:This paper presents a pilot study on the usability of a novel on-line frame-based lexicon forforeign language education, G-FOL (German Frame-semantic Online Lexicon). It compares students using GFOLwith students not using G-FOL to determine whether there is any significant advantage for students usingthe frame-based approach to vocabulary acquisition. The results of our pilot study indicate across-the-boardhigher scores among those students using the G-FOL for vocabulary learning
