摘要：Road traffic accidents are among the top leading causes of deaths and injuries of various levels and indeed one of the major social problems in Chennai. It has a great impact on the socio-economic development of a society. For the occurrence of accidents, both the government and the public have to be blamed. This paper focuses on creating awareness on road safety. The objective is to study the road accidents from different angles and prepare a detailed report after analyzing the various causes of road accidents in this city. The number of accidents occurred in Chennai city during the time period 2009 – 2013 are analyzed using classification, clustering and association algorithm.
