摘要：Le présent article tente de mettre en lumière le singulier intérêt porté par Bruno Neveu (1936-2004) à la notion de romanité dans ses travaux consacrés à l’histoire du magistère pontifical dans l’Église catholique. Alliant la solidité des apports d’une démarche qui ne renie pas l’héritage du positivisme historiographique aux intuitions d’une réflexion empathique dont Jean Orcibal avait souligné la nécessité, Bruno Neveu a créé une méthode originale grâce à laquelle il a pu faire dialoguer histoire et théologie pour élaborer, en faisant fructifier le legs d’Alphonse Dupront, une lecture de la romanité ecclésiale dont la richesse et le caractère novateur sont désormais patents.
其他摘要：This article tries to clarify the singular interest borne by Bruno Neveu (1936-2004) at the concept of romanity in its work devoted to the history of the papal magistery in the catholic Church. Combining the solidity of the contributions of an approach, which does not deny the inheritance of the historiographical positivism and the intuitions of an empathic reflection, the necessity of which Jean Orcibal had underlined, Bruno Neveu created an original method thanks to which he was able to put into dialogue history and theology to work out, while making bear fruit Alphonse Dupront's legacy, a reading of the ecclesial romanity whose richness and the innovative character are henceforth obvious.
